Knee High Leather Boot – Dolce Vida – Calinda
The Dolce Vida Calinda is a knee high leather boot that takes a simple and classic boot silhoutte and gives it cutting edge looks by way of a super hot platform and a smokin’ full length zipper down the back.
Ok, first of all, let’s talk about this zipper. When I say full length, I really mean full length! It runs from the top of the shaft all the way down to the tip of the heel! That long vertical line is going to make your legs look absolutely AMAZING from behind. I don’t know about you, but having anything that adds long lines to my figure is a real plus.
Of course, the height of the platform and heel are going to be doing wonders for your silhouette from the get-go.
Knee High Leather Boot in Available in Two Colors
This beautiful boot is made from a very soft tumbled leather which gives it a very slightly worn look. It’s available in two colors – the desert color shown here, and also a lightly textured black. A little FYI, we’ve heard that the photo doesn’t really do the color justice, that the desert is a little bit darker than it appears in the picture – so if you MUST have a very light colored boot, you might want to pass. That back zipper, by the way? Totally functional – it does zip all the way down past your ankle to allow very easy on and off, making this a fantastic choice for those of us with very high arches.
Comfortable Knee High Leather Boot
The inside of the boot is lined with a combination of fabric and leather, and the insole is lightly padded for extra comfort while walking on that high heel. I really love the cut of the boot, and how the front has that lip that comes up just a little bit higher for a little added interest.
Speaking of comfort, I know you’re looking at that heel and thinking “Wow, that’s tall…” and you’re right! It’s 4-3/4 inches of slender heel – but you get it balanced out some with the 1-1/4 inch platform, meaning that in effect it’ll only feel like a 3-1/2 inch heel! You’ll be able to work all day and dance all night in these gorgeous boots.
